Brigid's Kildare Hemp Embroidered Maxi Dress with Pockets

The olive green is a solid color that goes with everything you already own, which makes this the dress you reach for more often than anything with a print. Gold jewelry, tan leather sandals, and bare skin for daytime. A dark heel and a stacked bracelet for evening. The hemp feels soft in a way that surprises everyone who touches it, and the tiered skirt has the kind of lift and volume that makes walking through a room feel good. The embroidered daisies and flame details along the straps and bodice are the only embellishment, and they are enough.

Symbolism and Craft

Brigid is the Irish goddess of poetry, craft, and the forge. The daisies embroidered along the straps and bodice are among the first flowers to return after winter, marking Imbolc, the festival Brigid presided over in early Irish tradition. The flame motifs reference the perpetual fire tended at Kildare for centuries, a symbol of disciplined creativity carried forward by generations. Both elements are stitched into a dress made entirely from hemp, one of the oldest cultivated fibers in human history and one of the rarest to find in a fully constructed maxi dress today. The olive green carries the color of the Irish landscape in early spring, when the light returns and the ground begins to hold life again. This is a dress that exists because the House works with fibers most brands have stopped using, and it shows.
