Returns and Refunds Policy

At Diva Thea, every piece is produced in small batches with intention. If your piece is not right, we will help you return it easily.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined here.

At a Glance

You have 14 calendar days from delivery to request a return. Return requests submitted after the 14-day window cannot be approved.

Return shipping is free for customers in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Canada. All other international customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days of receiving your return. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 7 to 30 days to post the funds.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in original packaging with all tags attached and intact.

Final sale items, clearance pieces, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

We do not offer direct exchanges. Return your item for a refund and place a new order for your preferred size or piece.

Sizing Guidance

Each product page includes detailed measurements and fit notes to help you select the correct size. If you are unsure which size to choose, we encourage you to contact us before ordering and we will gladly assist.

Condition of Returned Items

This is the most important section of this policy. Diva Thea pieces are natural fiber garments produced in limited quantities. Each piece that cannot be resold represents a direct loss to the House. We inspect every return carefully and reserve the right to decline any return that does not meet the following conditions.

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and unaltered. They must be free of any signs of use including but not limited to:

Deodorant marks, body odor, or sweat.
Makeup, foundation, or self-tanner stains.
Perfume, cologne, or fragrance of any kind.
Pet hair, lint, or debris.
Food or beverage stains.
Smoke odor of any kind.
Pulls, snags, or fabric distortion caused by wear or improper handling.
Visible stretching at the neckline, waist, or hem from being worn.
Dirt, sand, or marks on the hem suggesting the garment was worn outdoors.

All original tags must be attached and uncut. A garment returned without its original tags will not be accepted regardless of condition. Tags that have been removed and reattached will not be accepted.

Items must be returned in their original packaging in the same condition it was received. Garments that arrive folded, rolled, or packed in a way that causes permanent creasing may be subject to a restocking assessment.

Any item that shows evidence of alteration — hemming, taking in, letting out, or any modification by a tailor or otherwise — will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Items that appear to have been worn for an event, photographed for personal use, or returned after single use will not be accepted. This is a practice known as wardrobing and it constitutes return fraud. Diva Thea reserves the right to refuse returns and ban customers from future purchases if this pattern is identified.

Diva Thea also monitors return patterns. Accounts showing repeated excessive returns may be restricted from future purchases.

How to Request a Return

Submit a return request through our contact form within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and reason for return.

Once approved, you will receive a Return Authorization number and instructions. Write your Return Authorization number clearly on the outside of the package before shipping it back.

Returns received without a Return Authorization number will not be processed.

Items remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received by Diva Thea.

Return Shipping

United States: We will provide a prepaid return label once your return is approved.

United Kingdom and European Union: Return shipping is free of charge. We will provide a prepaid return label once your return is approved.

Canada: Return shipping is free of charge as part of our all-inclusive pricing commitment. We will provide a prepaid return label once your return is approved.

All other international customers: You are responsible for arranging and covering return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, faulty, or incorrect. Please label your package clearly as Returned Goods to minimize additional customs fees.

Refunds

Refunds are issued within 7 to 10 business days after your return is received and inspected. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 7 to 30 days for funds to appear in your account.

For purchases made with a credit card, debit card, PayPal, Klarna, Affirm, or any other buy now pay later provider, refunds are always issued back to the original payment method in accordance with provider terms.

For purchases made directly with Diva Thea without a financing provider, refunds may be issued to your original payment method or, if you prefer, as store credit.

International Refunds

For customers in the United Kingdom, European Union, and Canada, your price already includes all applicable duties, taxes, and shipping. Your refund will reflect the full amount paid with no deductions.

For all other international customers, refunds reflect the purchase price minus the original outbound shipping cost. Duties and taxes paid to your country's customs office are set by your government and are typically non-refundable, though you may apply to your customs office directly for reimbursement.

Refused Deliveries

Orders refused at delivery or returned due to unpaid duties or taxes will be refunded minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping charges incurred. This provision does not apply to orders shipped to the United Kingdom, European Union, or Canada where duties and taxes are already included in the purchase price.

Payment Plan Purchases — Klarna, Affirm, and Other BNPL Options

If your order was placed using a financing or installment option, the same 14-day return policy and item condition requirements apply.

Once your return is approved, your financing provider will be notified and your plan will be updated, adjusted, or canceled in accordance with their terms.

Refunds are always issued back to your original payment method with Klarna, Affirm, or other buy now pay later providers.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us through our contact form  or care@DivaThea.com within 7 days of delivery.

Include photos clearly showing the issue. We will provide a prepaid return label and resolve it with a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Final Sale

Items marked Final Sale, clearance pieces, gift cards, and specific promotional purchases noted as final sale at checkout are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with consumer protection regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, follow the standard return process above. Contact us through our contact form within the 14-day period to request a Return Authorization.

Prepare your item in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact and ship it back using the instructions provided.

For Klarna, Affirm, or other buy now pay later purchases, refunds will always be issued back to the original payment method in accordance with provider requirements. For standard purchases, refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as store credit if preferred.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Return your item for a refund and place a new order for the piece or size you wish to purchase.
